Our heartfelt condolences to Barney Frank's family, friends, and colleagues. His legacy is one of courage and commitment. His early LGBTQ rights advocacy and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street regulations have had lasting effect. His gruffness and sometimes stinging wit notwithstanding, he could successfully work across the aisle to move legislation forward.

In the last days of his life, our democracy and the future of the Democratic Party were at the forefront of his mind. His was a truly lifelong commitment to service and country. Thank you, Barney.
