@MdBreathe @HCAHouston Have to test before radiology studies. Standard of care. The other possibility would have been a urine dip for pregnancy. It would be egregious not to do it before imaging if woman childbearing age. Appeal to insurance company. Test was justified and standard of care.

I would like to see her get jail time (for murder actually) but if the verdict is simply guilty of OUI, Cannone will have to dole out a sentence consistent with her previous rulings and circumstances.

@JohnDePetroshow I didn’t see the entire day. In NYS, a suspected or actual dog bite is mandated reporting. Doc or ED staff report as suspected of actual throw bite. at the time of his death? Is it mandatory in Massachusetts?

@JohnDePetroshow As a 45 year ED RN, I cannot agree more with you John. We treat and street. We are not forensic experts. We document detailed and carefully and let the “experts” make the call if necessary. No time for more. I know she has an interest as a former police officer but no expert!

@JohnDePetroshow I believe she hit him. Her alcohol level was SO high she may not have realized it. Both a head injury & hypothermia cause disorientation. He may have started to crawl, scratch, even stand up &fall again. I think the tempof phone dropping is key. No way a conspiracy w/no leaks.
