[Offkai Gen5 2026 - Day 2] M&G

I missed several Meet n Greets but in return I found a Kami Oshi.

A bit of a long post but it starts with me rushing over to the @veizojp booth to do a meet n greet I was running late for. I spoke to a staff member who was handling the line and unknowingly they eventually would become my Kami Oshi.

I missed the scheduled meet n greet at Veizo and while at first I was quite disappointed since I was looking forward to speaking to them, the staff member was super understanding and sweet.
We yapped a bit more and she had told me she was bored being all alone so I decided to spend more time with her. 5 minutes became 10 minutes, 15 mins to 30 mins and eventually 1 hour passed then 2. She didn’t know but at this time I missed several other meet n greet at different booths. I was having so much fun yapping I didn’t really mind and I didn’t want to leave her.

Being overwhelmed with how lovely she was I asked her to sign my Offkai Passport not thinking much of it other than wanting to remember our interactions together. When she wrote her signature and her @ handle, seeing it was different from her con badge I asked her what it meant. It was at this moment I found out she was a vtuber! Surprised and stunned that I spent so long yapping I asked if she had merch to support her, she showed me her merch set and said the Shikishi board’s are beautiful. I rushed over to buy a set and showed her. It ended up being gacha with one out of four that was hand-signed with a signature, the first one she made. I fell to my knees out of genuine shock that I pulled one.

After getting a photo with her and a big hug, she said that she’ll be performing and doing a mini concert the next day. I told her I’d attend no matter what. I later find out that there was an auction for her standee and I decided that I’d put my luck to the test once more.
So after doing my best to wotagei for her at her mini-concert and auction for her standee… I won!!! It was definitely something that I didn’t think I’d win and the surprise on her face when I rushed over to her with the standee, its burned into my memory.

I knew at that moment that she would become my Kami Oshi, as if it was all meant to be.
Thank you for letting me so spend much time with you, thank you for letting me do my best to perform for you, I hope it’s okay if you’ll become my Kami Oshi, and I truly hope to see you soon!
