@LogicalRatio_@senenby Chara taking over the body doesnt HAVE to mean Frisk is literally, magically gone😭 but you know what lets just agree to disagree, my point is that its still possible that Frisk is the one that Chara is talking to but you are free to disagree about that
@LogicalRatio_@senenby No, Me is referring to Chara talking in first person, while 'You' is supposed to be Chara referring to Frisk. the one person who think 'something funny' cannot be the player obviously, so this is Chara referring to Frisk - is what i meant.
@LogicalRatio_@senenby i dont know if you subscribe to narra Chara theory or not but the way Chara describes 'You' (remembering something funny) is clearly referring to Frisk and not the Player here, so Frisk clearly still exist in geno route.
@TheEmployee2108@senenby Toby likes to do that, in-universe he's probably referring to Sans, but in meta lens its referring to the player. tl;dr both answer are equally true in this scenario (imo this is much cleaner solution than Flowey knowing about the 'Player' out of nowhere)
@senenby while I suspect that Flowey knows Chara is possessing Frisk in this scene instead of mistaking Frisk for them, I think this is a good explanation for the whole Player/Chara/Frisk mess in Undertale
@FlameofAries9@FuryOfFaeful not saying Player theory is impossible but Flowey talking to Chara (as in the fallen child instead of player given name) is an equally plausible read exactly for this reason:
This is still fucking insane btw, specifically for referencing the guy behind the house in SMRPG. A character with no name, obscured by an object the player can't see behind, who speaks in cryptic bullshit, and was rumored by the community to be the "missing brother" himself. Ok
@edensMannequin (ik the one in Noelle's room and Kris's house are different cactuses but both are 'Tsundere' cactuses precisely bc Kris is associated with it)
@edensMannequin Imo Cactus's relevancy in ch.3 is less to foreshadow more sentient plants and more about Tsundere Cactus being somewhat symbolic of Kris (it being named 'Krismas' then changed to 'TsunTsun' likely because Berdly and Noelle thought of Kris when looking at said cactus lol)
@The_Cramiena i already know DR has a high chance to end up completely different than what most people think but i really really do hope lots of people end up deeply appreciating whatever toby is cooking and wont end up ditching DR just because their theories are wrong
I find it so interesting that Lancer has been a character that heralds the roaring many times. The first time you really meet him is also the very first time that "chase" plays, which is a song containing the Roaring Knight's motif. It's also a section where the first thing-
