Update: after days of calls, @AmericanAir managed to send one suitcase to the wrong city in Canada not even the city we are in and now the second bag is completely unaccounted for.

We are also being told there is “not much they can do” because these airports are not their hubs.

Hi @AmericanAir — my mother flew from Mexico to Victoria via Seattle on Saturday and her luggage is STILL stuck in Seattle days later.

The luggage contains items for her daughter’s wedding this week and we still have no answers or timeline. Please escalate this urgently.

We have now called 6 times over 3 days and every response has been “we are waiting to hear back from Seattle” with no real update, timeline, or escalation.
