That commitment is why NEIP, in partnership with the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, brought the Ashanti Arts and Enterprise Summit to life today to bridge creativity with entrepreneurship. My profound gratitude goes to the Regional Minister for this inspiring partnership, and to all the traditional leaders and distinguished dignitaries whose presence made our joint event an immense success. It is this exact drive to empower youth and foster a robust business ecosystem from the ground up that birthed the Students Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) Programme. As part of Government’s efforts to strengthen preparedness against #Ebola, I toured the Accra International Airport, Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, and Ga East Municipal Hospital to assess detection, testing and treatment centre readiness. In collaboration with the WHO, PPEs were also made available to the Port Health Unit at the airport to strengthen our response to this public health emergency.

As part of the implementation of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama’s #FreePrimaryHealthCare initiative, the Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, undertook a series of engagements across the Volta Region aimed at deepening stakeholder participation, strengthening public awareness, and assessing service delivery readiness.
