🌱 Agriculture gives hope to refugees in the DRC. Today I met with South Sudanese refugees working the land in Biringi in eastern DRC. Over 2,400 hectares of land was generously made available for South Sudanese refugees by local authorities.

222 refugees departed Angola’s Lovua Settlement, 09 October 2019, in the first leg of the organized voluntary repatriation of Congolese to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). A Tripartite Agreement was signed by the DRC, Angola and UNHCR on 23 August 2019.
