222 refugees departed Angola’s Lovua Settlement, 09 October 2019, in the first leg of the organized voluntary repatriation of Congolese to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). A Tripartite Agreement was signed by the DRC, Angola and UNHCR on 23 August 2019.
