Finally, as we left the area, power crews could be seen working their way to bring back power, while the department of Public Works’ crews were at work on some road repairs. In the end, we can only hope and pray for yet another “return to normal” 🙏

I also must note that driving up and around the Cabot trail in rough inclement weather conditions didn’t dampen all my love for Nova Scotia’s beautiful scenery- Canada’s Ocean playground indeed!
