@190thnight FF10 arguably has the best battle system in the series, though FF6 remains my personal favorite.

@190thnight Final Fantasy 6 if you enjoy a ton of un-streamlined systems stacked upon each other.

Final Fantasy 10 if you want cinematic modernity and arguably the most in-depth character building system (albeit very streamlined, and very time intensive) in the series.
