@basedbinkie Here in italy we have old grandmas sitting in old building who will feed anyone who dares enter their home. Those who survive the 8 course meal without fainting or refusing anything can ask for recipes.
Survival rate: 5%
@m0pan_40k To be fair, inciting rebellion is not difficult given just how horribly the Imperium treats its citizens. The problem is trying to convince the brainwashed Imperials to set aside their inherent xenophobia and accept the Tau as liberators.
@m0pan_40k It's this little guy right here, btw. Thought it'd be funny to have someone who looks like a Techpriest while technically being something closer to an Earth Caste engineer
@m0pan_40k I don't have a Tau OC sadly, only a Tau Gue'vesa... who somehow ended up in service of the Inquisition.
Funny enough I decided to make my OC a rare breed of Gue'vesa: one from a small human civilization that never had any contact with the Imperium beforehand.
@FfcGolden@joshscorcher That's a false dichotomy. Winning the lottery and surviving are two very different scenarios. And besides, I am quite confident that more than 50% of people would pick Blue, so everyone would survive.
@FfcGolden@joshscorcher Likewise everyone picks blue everyone lives. Heck, in that case even just 51% of the population would be enough for everyone to survive.
There is no "wrong" decision, it's just a matter of priorities. Blues prioritize humanity as a whole while Reds prioritize themselves.
@FfcGolden@joshscorcher Wrong. Intelligence and rationality don't mean that we all think the same way. The difference is that picking blue is the best choice for humanity as a whole, while picking red is the best choice for the single individidual. That's what the matter boils down to.
@iko_ka This is an interesting side story! Another "what if" scenario that I think would be funny would be if Jilbagias had been born female instead of male... I guess Alex would have had an even harder time adapting. And I also wonder how his relationship with Leyla would have evolved.
@101ho_ Yep. The phrase "the Emperor Protects" is actually a huge case of survivor bias. Sure, the Emperor does intervene from time to time to save guardsmen, but he only does so if the specific guard serves his purpose. Remember, the Emperor only sees people as tools.
@learning_yohei Italian here! Spaghetti are a type of pasta, but not the only one. There are other types of "long" pasta (linguine, tagliatelle, strozzapreti, etc) and also "short" pasta like penne, fusilli, farfalle, etc. Certain types of pasta are more suited for certain condiments.
