Valhalla Classics

Valhalla Classics, the episodic speech adventure by @CarringtonPaul is nearing its 28th Anniversary! iPhone here we come ... #adventuregames #retrogames

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@TheRetro32UK Amos cover disk was the reason I started coding 👍🏻😀

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@JakubTworkowski Hoping you’ve got the key codes now

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@ChrisBent85 Usually 24 hours, I’ll look into it for you now

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@BarnabusBrice @CarringtonPaul Aw happy you loved them! I’m using XCode to recreate the game on iOS and bespoke editors written in C++ on PC for creating the maps and episode data 😬

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

Preservation of gaming history getting closer #retrogames #mobilegames

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@DSotMog Still happening just delayed … yes you can still buy the old PC versions via the old website but test the free episode first as they don’t run on all versions of windows 10 and above.

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@CliveLipscombe Eeeeek It's been a bit delayed, now aiming for 1st quarter of 2022 ... sorry.

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@NunyaBisnis9 @CarringtonPaul I would try downloading the episode installation file again, that should fix it

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@SteveDeeGreen @ManMadeMoon How about the bag of warm salad in an Indian takeaway! What’s that all about?

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@CliveLipscombe @CarringtonPaul Hi Clive, yes it will work on Windows 10 .. no plans for Timekeepers just yet

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

Chunky finger compatible 🤔 and the Prince is finally talking on an iPhone! #RETROGAMING #Amiga #iphone

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@russgreeno I’m aiming to enlarge all graphics and start adding more detail (at the moment they’re just stretched) I chuckled when realising the iPhone application icon was bigger than the original Amiga games viewport 😂

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

Finally testing an early build on iPad too! #iPhone #ipad #amiga #retrogames

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@CliveLipscombe @CarringtonPaul Also now running on iPad

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@russgreeno @CarringtonPaul @ShaneRMonroe Ah yes, skidmarks was very addictive

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@ShaneRMonroe @CarringtonPaul @russgreeno Simpler days 😂 but way more exciting now!!!

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@ShaneRMonroe What ones? Wonder how many games got published that were made in Amos 🤔

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@ShaneRMonroe Would have been easier if it had 😂 aaaaw I miss Amos

[Valhalla Classics @ValhallaClassi]

@CliveLipscombe @CarringtonPaul Pretty sure I can do that, I will get back to you on that one!
