Demons Night Fever and Gender

DNFever is about the misanthropic Kyoshiro who dies and becomes chosen to participate in the ritual to restore the fallen Demon lord Giga Super Death in an astral plane recreation of their rise to Demonhood.

I couldn't think of anything for this prompt, so here’s Ghost Majorita from Disgaea RPG coming out of a ghostly portal on my laptop.

[Michelle 1991 @Valkyria491]

End of Days is not a good movie, but I like it for the vibe that it has. I also like seeing Schwarzengger play a more down to Earth human role. It was my first Schwarzennger movie that I saw on the big screen as a kid. So I have a soft spot for it.

What’s your under-20% Rotten Tomatoes “hear me out”?

Not talking about the usual picks like HOOK or BULLET TRAIN. Give the genuinely unpopular opinions.

MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNIHILATION (1997) has just 4% on Rotten Tomatoes, but the ridiculous dialogue, bizarre character choices and gloriously cheesy fight scenes make it a hilarious time capsule of ’90s video game movies. It’s a complete mess, but watching Shao Kahn deliver lines like he’s auditioning for a wrestling promo has its own charm.

What’s your pick?

Disgaea creator Sohei Niikawa says he had to take out a $127 thousand loan to complete his new dark comedy SRPG, Demons’ Night Fever

The game's success is crucial for Niikawa's plan to create 66 games by the time he turns 75

November 2026 game line up in a nut shell. GTA6 is going to out sell everything.

[Michelle 1991 @Valkyria491]

@sohei_niikawa I’ll buy the game once I get my paycheck which probably won’t be until early November.

[新川宗平（本人）10月22日『デモンズナイトフィーバー』発売‼️ @sohei_niikawa]

During the development of *Demon’s Night Fever*—which launches today—we ran into a budget shortfall, so I took out a 20-million-yen bank loan (without telling my wife!) and poured it all into the project.
If the game doesn’t sell, my plan to release 66 titles by the time I turn 75 will fall apart—so please consider buying *Demon’s Night Fever* as a form of crowdfunding!

[Michelle 1991 @Valkyria491]

@Oswald_A_Lisker I hated it as a kid because the controls and camera were so annoying. I was a huge fan as a kid, so I was so hyped up for it.

[新川宗平（本人）10月22日『デモンズナイトフィーバー』発売‼️ @sohei_niikawa]

Tomorrow, I will be releasing my new simulation RPG, *Demons Night Fever*‼️
Please consider purchasing it to show your support—it would really help me keep my work going‼️🙇‍♂️
