Really appreciate you looking into this, Jason. The last two #NYR games had a similar story: the shot totals were close, but @NYRangers badly outplayed/out chanced @Canucks and @TBLightning .
LA outshot Edmonton 40-17 last night. But digging deeper, the scoring chances were similar.
LAK had four high danger, two mid and 31 low danger.
EDM had four high danger, 1 mid and 10 low danger.
LAK had more possession, no doubt, at least after the first period, but EDM only gave up three inner slot shots.
I like @csahockey the best for scoring chances. These are theirs and they had LAK at 1.79 xGF and EDM at 1.58.
EDM won 4-1 and scored on three of their four high danger chances.

Reminder that Ty Kartye was playing at a 48 point pace with the #NYR last season.
He’s now at 20 points in 31 games as a Ranger which is a 52 point pace.
I don’t know what he what he was in Seattle but Rangers Kartye is a monster!
