"Qualified Custodian" in terms of crypto is a very American term, mostly because the US doesn't have a regime to create "Licensed Custodians" for crypto yet. So, if you're an American firm dealing w/ crypto and/or managing American's assets, it is wise to select a Licensed Custodian, not a tech platform that helps you manage keys and uses the word custodian in their marketing. Such Licensed Custodians that meet the SEC's suggested requirements are usually found in Malta, Gibraltar, and soon UAE. Drop @EverestDotOrg a note if you need help with custody.
