Academic Twitter: I’m creating a list of awesome folks in psych, research, social work, medicine, public health, policy, etc. for medical students to follow on Academic Twitter.
Any recommendations?
Thrilled to share I matched at @harvardmed / @MGHPsychiatry for my final year of doctoral training! So grateful to everyone who supported me and all the wonderful internship faculty I encountered over the past few months! #APPICmatch
Feeling unbelievably excited and slightly unhinged to match at my top site for internship, Boston Children’s Hospital! 🎉
S/o to the many humans who helped get me here, and through such a tough app process. I’m shipping up to Boston! #APPICMatch
Hi grad programs! If your letter of recommendation portal requires me to rate a student's "emotional stability" or similar, I will endorse everyone's "stability" as "once-in-a-decade" until you remove this stigmatizing and frankly embarrassing (for clinical psych programs) item!

hey Grad students:
The "3rd year existential crisis" is normal! Often characterized by questioning: e.g., 'Do I even like what I am doing? What am I in this program for? Do I even want my doctorate at all?'
The PhD is a long haul and this kind of questioning is healthy! We have all been there - and we are here for you!
Excited to see this labor of love in print! Learned so much about the process of conducting a meta and the rewards & challenges of intervention implementation across settings. Shout out to the DBT champions getting it done! 🌟

Eliminating the term "atypical" might help ensure that all people with EDs receive the attention they deserve. The label "atypical" is like diagnostic limbo. Here's one alternative: https://t.co/DI5yuxJaBs
Nakita was a classmate of mine, and an inspiration to all those who knew and worked with her.
She deserved better, and was working to improve the lives of all residents and trainees.
RIP Dr. Nakita Mortimer.
Hello from my recurring state of paralyzing alarm at the fact that nearly ALL of our evidence on youth mental health treatments hinges on a small, privileged subset of kids whose parents 1) noticed a problem, 2) helped them access care, & 3) signed them up for a clinical trial 🫠
‼️Upcoming solidarity event alert‼️ Thank you to @TempleUSC for the incredible support and organizing this in solidarity with us! Let’s show the university that we are a community who can stand up for fair treatment for all workers! ✊#TempleUnionMade#RespectIsInMyCheck
