At some point, excuses run out.
Republicans control the White House. Republicans control Congress.
If there’s something that absolutely has to get done, then get it done.
The voters didn’t send you there to explain why you can’t. They sent you there to deliver.
Here is:
The domestic terrorist Rashida Tlaib, calling on Hamas supporters to mobilize and take down the United States government, right here on U.S. soil.
“We’re in every corner of the United States.”
If the Post Office can track a cheap phone case from a warehouse in China all the way to your front porch ... showing you every city it passes through ... then tracking a federal ballot shouldn’t be treated like some radical new idea.
That’s basically what this new postal rule does. States that want to send federal ballots through the mail would have to give the Postal Service the names and addresses of the voters getting them, plus unique barcodes on both the outgoing and return envelopes.
The Post Office could then actually check how many ballots went out versus how many came back and flag anything that doesn’t add up. The barcode stays on the envelope, not the ballot, so your vote stays secret. States still decide who’s eligible. Nothing about that hands Washington control of elections.
We already do this with everything else we ship. Your Amazon order, your prescriptions, your tax documents ... all of it moves with tracking and accountability. But somehow applying the same basic standard to the one thing the mail carries that actually decides who runs the country is suddenly a crisis.
The reaction tells you more than the rule does. The same people who spent years expanding mail voting are now acting like basic chain-of-custody is an attack on democracy. If the system was already tight and clean, this wouldn’t bother them. The fact that it does suggests they got comfortable with a process that never had to fully reconcile what it sent out.
This isn’t complicated. It’s just finally treating a ballot like it matters as much as a package.

The Republicans can’t find 51 votes to secure American elections while the Democrats can find millions of votes to steal American elections.
Sickening.
Important information for anyone, including @nicksortor, who may be on the ground tonight: a different group is reportedly organizing this evening’s Delany Hall protest activity, one with ties to DSA.
This is organized by Palestine Solidarity Working Group, not Cosecha. These are not the institutionally trained "nonviolent" activists like with the prior protests. These are far-left, revolutionary-minded activists who have foreign terrorism sympathies.
Of course, that it's being organized by extremists wasn't enough to deter other NGOs (we suspect National Lawyers Guild) from offering "jail support" to them. They always stick together.
Pray for the safety of all tonight.
🚨 DEAR SUPREME COURT,
PLEASE ABOLISH "ELECTION MONTH!"
And mandate "ELECTION DAY" nationwide, once and for all. California is proving yet again we need this.
No more mail-ins coming after election day — a BIG ruling could come soon that NULLIFIES over a dozen states' laws. Do the right thing!
JUSTICE ALITO IS RIGHT: "Independence DAY, birth-DAY, and Election DAY. They are all particular DAYS...if we start with that, if I have nothing more to look at than the phrase 'Election Day,' I think this is the DAY in which everything is going to take place."
Do it.
🧵 THREAD: Shashank Joshi, a foreign think tank careerist, has a 16-year record of attacking US foreign policy... and now he's lecturing our military leadership on how to take the oath. Why does he still have a work visa?
He's an Indian national who arrived in April and is already the loudest critic of the Pentagon on social media.
The Economist's new Washington Bureau Chief — an Indian national on a visa who just arrived in April — went on a Canadian national security podcast literally titled "The Problem of America" and said this about US military operations:
"They have attacked scores of small boats in the Pacific and the Caribbean. They've killed dozens of people in a campaign that is, by most accounts, quite illegal and contrary to international law."
That's Shashank Joshi, @shashj . Defence editor turned bureau chief. Two months in the country and he's already built a 16-year paper trail calling American power "malevolent," "predatory," and "quite illegal" — while sitting on the advisory board of a UK think tank funded by the European Commission, BAE Systems, and the US State Department.
And he's now lecturing our military leadership on what it means to take the oath.
I have the receipts.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇
Want to start a fight on the internet?
Just post:
Donald J. Trump is your President. God Bless America.
Then sit back and watch people write novels in your comments over one sentence.
Meanwhile I’ll be over here enjoying my life.
Enjoy your celebration while it lasts.
Sure, it's great that Pratt and Hilton in CA seem to have a chance.
But wake up, it's not going to last.
The Democrat cheating machine is just about to kick into high gear.
They gave themselves a full month to manipulate the results.
And Republicans stood around and did absolutely nothing to fix it.
Can't feel sorry for them.
The fact that we just *ACCEPT* the total farce that is California's election results process is troubling.
How can California voters be OK with waiting weeks to see who won their elections when other states, like Florida for example (two time zones) can have the votes cast and counted in the same night?
We as a country should not accept this... But to Cali voters...
When are you going to demand that these things change?
I wish Speaker Johnson and Leader Thune moved even half as fast on Trump’s executive orders, the SAVE Act, defunding the Taliban, confirming appointees, and impeaching rogue judges as they do ramming through Democrat bills and anti-Trump resolutions.Y’all sprint at warp speed for performative bullshit and America Last garbage…
But actual border security, election integrity, stopping terror funding, codifying DOGE cuts, putting Tariff policies into law, and staffing the administration?
Crickets. Slow-walking. Endless excuses. Backroom deals with the democrats.
Sorry, but Speaker Johnson needs to grow a damn spine and start acting like an America First warrior instead of a weak-kneed establishment backroom deal maker and Thune needs to be removed as Senate leader.
It’s pitiful watching House and Senate Republicans be this spineless after years of Democrats burning the country down while the GOP sat on their hands.
We handed you the majority to FIGHT with President Trump, not play nice with the people destroying America.
Get it together or get the hell out of the way.
WE ARE DONE WITH THIS 💩
