I guess it kind of makes sense because Summer Games Fest wasn't streamed FOR Japanese audiences - but the JP language FF7 Revelation trailer is being watched more than the English one on official accounts.
@ChrisMack_@Wario64 If it's any consolation the save file exclusive summons in Rebirth were designed in a way that they were only useful for very early game, otherwise they kind of didn't have much use.
Yesterday was the last performance of probably the biggest Japanese Band 'Arashi' at Tokyo Dome.
I saw videos of the area around the dome packed at 11am, despite the performance starting at 6pm.

For me it's 16 - but it says a lot that I still enjoyed 16 and have a lof of good things to say about it. It just lacks the 'spirit' of what I enjoy about FF, but everyone is different.
If I were to harbor a guess - when they first announced DQ12 they said it would be a 'mature' entry unlike the others. They probably decided that was not the right direction for a DQ series, which is for the best.
I knew back when they changed producer for the entire Dragon Quest series 2 years ago that it was a sign of development issues.
Glad they could get Yosuke Saito to oversee things and get the project back on track. Seems like it could take another couple of years or so to finish imo.
DQXI Switch 2 version being region locked for language still implies it's probably just the PS4/PC version of the game ported to switch 2, wouldn't expect any extra bells and whistles.
