We shared many cultural and baseball exchanges as we wrap up the tour portion of the trip. All the players and their families experienced Japan in a way they will always remember.

Amazing. The Kansai University baseball team runs with only 3 hired coaches for around 200 players. A lots are alumni players and students helping out. For the love of baseball.

Today the older players practiced with the university’s senior team where three players are drafted into the Nippon Professional Baseball League. It is important to learn about the hard work ethics.

The players have fun practicing with the university students. Three turtles with one lane having an automatic pitching machine. Pitchers have a different routine.

Today the Asahi older players went to Kansai University to practice with university players. Kansai University is a top 10 baseball university in Japan (like a D1 university in the States).

So efficient practice with everyone on the team knowing what they need to do. All the equipment is well taken care of. Takes only 2 players to move a turtle and 1 to bring 2 ball carts.
