A traffic monitor!
A what???
@siadvance reports, City Planning said the agency, alongside DOT, would commit to a "traffic monitoring program" that will track development over time.
A traffic monitoring program?
This isnβt a traffic and transit plan.
#BayStreetmess
Why does this have to be done now? Because the developer said so! They were afraid of losing $6000 an apartment. Not about housing the homeless.@CMDebiRose; @NYCMayorsOffice@HeyNowJO !
@NY1 Why does the CEO of WIN (Chris Quinn) get an exclusive opportunity to talk about an unscientific survey about homelessness? Where is the fair reporting? Invite the Van Duzer Civic to talk about the homeless shelter on the North Shore of Staten Island! Equal time!
Just a tiny sampling of Bay Street and Victory performing as (poorly) designed. It gets worse. Much worse.
Traffic & transit problems along the proposed Bay Street Corridor rezoning are "unmitigatable" says the de Blasio Administration. Move on!
?
Staten Island votes "no."
Thank you BP Oddo for reminding @NYCMayor and @NYCSpeakerCoJo and @CMDebiRose that infrastructure needs to come first before the rezoning! The Stapleton community has been waiting a long time for these improvements.
The Thin Red Line. The Goal line. The Line in the Sand. Call my requests whatever you want.
Without infrastructure help, don't let Mayor de Blasio cross any of them.
Thoughts on the Bay Street Corridor rezoning to be voted on by City Planning on Monday.
