@orangepixunlong The reason to use Mini PC instead of a custom build with PSU, mainboard & CPU is due to power consumption. I assume most people will use it as Promox/EXSI server (and run open source router, plex, home assistance, etc on it) Thus need a CPU that have lower base freq to save power

With the Intel #n5105 4 x 2.5GbE #i225v Router PC running #openwrt, I get up to 2444Mbps download and 2307Mbps upload in #OpenSpeedTest and 1.9Gbps #iperf3 throughput. Interesting, the maximum power consumption is only at 15W.

I tested the HP Thin Clients t620 Plus with the Dell QLogic 57810S Dual SFP+ Adapter. So far, I get up to 4.8Gbps throughput with #openspeedtest and #iperf3. The t620 plus is running #openwrt 21.02 stable release with kmod-bnx2 & kmod-bnx2x packages.

Testing the #NanoPiR5S with the LAN1 port (2.5GbE) configured as WAN port, I got 1168Mbps Download & 843 Mbps Upload in OpenSpeedTest. OpenVPN throughput is around 150Mbps and Wireguard throughput is 615Mbps
