A few days ago, on the field, football came to a halt.
The roar of the crowd fell silent.
Rivalry became insignificant.
A player suddenly felt ill and had a seizureโฆ
And what we witnessed was more than just a game, it was faith in action.
Players knelt down, united in prayer, while a life was being cared for right there on the pitch.
In that moment, it became clear: there are situations that only God can reach.
May what we saw at the Flamengo match not remain only in the stadium.
May we carry it into our daily lives.
May our first response, in the face of fear, pain, and uncertainty, be prayer.
Prayer has power.
Faith changes environments.
God acts even when everything seems out of control.
The medical bulletin confirmed: the player is doing well, and no injury was found.
And for the honor and glory of the Lord, everything ended well.
May we never lack faith.
May we never lack prayer.
May we never lack God ๐๐ฝโค๏ธ
@SufferingWolves@oldgoldpack If you think Fosun are bothered about 5000 people not sitting down before KO then you ain't got a clue. 30,000 then maybe but that will never happen.
@legendkiller2k8@oldgoldpack Yeah and have been for the last 40 years. You can have a half hearted protest (which is what it will be) or you can get behind the manager and the players from the first minute. Only one will have a positive impact
In a team with no confidence, direction and creativity desperately needing someone who can see a pass, deliver a good free kick or beat the first man when taking a corner.
Oh we have one, so let's not use him, send him out on loan. You couldn't make it up ๐คท๐ผ
As per @powndland tweet - on the 2๏ธโฃ9๏ธโฃth minute of the Everton game - if there could be a minutes applause for @MiddletonMitch
We recently lost Mitch - a HUGE Wolves fan and was our lucky charm in the 2003 POF - letโs hope he can bring us luck tomorrow ๐
RTs appreciated! ๐ช
@wolvespremier@oldgoldpack 100% Agree, We had an opportunity to show the world our appreciation and what Diogo meant to everyone associated with @Wolves and we absolutely nailed it ๐งก๐ค.
Without doubt one of the proudest moments I've experienced as a fan.
Huge respect to all involved in making this happen.
@powndland I thought about posting about the atmosphere at Molineux this season as it's been nothing short of embarrassing. We hardly have any songs. Admittedly I've only been to one away game (Everton) and we sang every song from the last 10 years. We need to make Molineux a fortress again
@MrRyanLeister 3 wins in his last 27 Premier league games. An awful end to last season and the start of this one. Should have gone after the Brentford game. Unfortunately it's too late now and we are down ๐
