No need for a lot of talk. Xabi Alonso was never going to come in, and the team starts banging in three weeks. Maresca had the same struggle in pre-season. It's normal for coaches like that.

I personally don't expect us to play like Alonso wants us to until around late September, early October. It will take a couple of months in my opinion.

These things aren't plug and play, and on top of that, we are missing a lot of starting players. We will have a good season. I'm very sure.

Just relax. Ancelotti lost all his season 1 pre-season games at Chelsea and still won the league that season.
