the extended version of ‘no other choice’ <어쩔수가없다> a.k.a directors cut version of the movie featuring 19 minutes of scenes that could not be seen in theaters, will be released today (the 16th).

according to CJ entertainment on the 16th, the extended version is now available on IPTV platforms (KT Genie TV, SK B tv, LG U+ TV), digital cable TV (Studio Choice), and online/mobile VOD services.

this extended cut runs 157 minutes — 19 minutes longer than the theatrical release — and includes newly added scenes that were not shown in theaters.

new sequences include: daily life scenes of man-soo, mi-ri, and their son ri-won after leaving the cello practice room; deeper portrayals of the relationship between mi-ri and ri-won; a new episode at oh jin-ho’s dental clinic; and a scene revealing the truth surrounding si-won. major scenes have also been expanded with new dialogue, such as those at the job training center, family daily life, the relationship between husband and wife man-soo and mi-ri, and tense moments following the incident.
