@Oregonian At anytime any one if us could be homeless. I often worry about this myself. Not all of us have friends or family to take us in or have the ability to get a loan etc. One stroke of bad luck, and, well, a candle may be the only thing to keep us warm.

@Oregonian Saved them. I have met the most amazing people. Dave, who was blinded and lost his job and family, Stan, who is one of the kindest souls I've met, Maria, who just wanted to be with her baby but was young and had her taken away by family... things need to change! Real homes!

@tonyposnanski Honestly, I don't really like cereal so I probably already failed. It makes me feel sluggish. I suppose, if I had to indulge, I would eat Golden Grahams. Corn nuts, I don't eat candy bars either.ugh.2fer. But that's not saying that anything with peanut butter isn't delicious:-)

Years ago I had the honor of decorating the stage with my candles for this amazing show that showcases local designers...my son, Leaf, helped & watched the show. This year, he is walking the runway for designer Kian Mirfathali! So excited!!!!!
