@FiveTimesAugust I think the general plan is, who ever is in control advances the greater agenda. Republics win, do a bunch of bad crap, sets it up so people want to vote blue. Democrats get in, work further on the agenda, people vote red. Etc etc. wash rinse repeat

@novabrand If you're into Megaman x style platformers, that's what I'm working on. Currently working to make the graphics more improved, but I think the gameplay is pretty fun (possibly very challenging though).

What kind of games do you like?

@onefifthblue Yea. I've personally always been more of a "music first, graphics second" kind of guy, but I'm realizing that people really won't take a game seriously unless it looks polished. You have to be distinct to draw in a crowd

@Dr_Gingerballs Interesting, intuitively, I kind of knew that AI would degrade, especially if it cannibalizes the people feeding it. But explicitly knowing this is a law of thermodynamics is really interested, and super cool

@onefifthblue Yea man. I'm tired of all the simple games. I want games that take me on an adventure, that challenge you and make you feel cool when you pull off a tough move. That's what I'm doing with my game. Simple games are easily cloned. We need depth!

@2buckfridays Sword fighting games are so cool. Makes me kind of regret doing a Megaman style game with shooting as the primary action. Looks cool

@koharu_xxxxx Haha unrelated, but I've been studying Japanese for about a year now. Its been pretty slow going, but it's cool to be able to read small words without needing the translation. So much kanji though! Its gonna be a while still 🙃

@higashin900407 Yea, it can definitely be tough. Luckily for me, I am extremely low maintenance, I spend on almost nothing, and I have a tiny side job that keeps a tiny amount of income coming in, so my savings is actually holding on. But, it can't last forever. Gotta work fast

@Tcatstar Haha thanks for the vote of confidence! Music is more my forte as far as art goes. But man, if I can improve my visual art enough, I'll be a triple threat since I already know how to code. But yea, this sprite is looks amazing

@SurferRBLX Yea, writing code, and even generating art, is only one facet of game creation. What really matters is game play. It has to feel good or no ones gonna care. So many visually beautiful games have died because they weren't fun
