@Timcast Justified.
The worker obviously just meant to throw the guy back away from him.
Even he was surprised by the way he hit the ground.
He was defending himself with a reasonable amount of force, it just went bad.
@ZacharyLevi Ignore the haters. You are entitled to your opinion, regardless of what you were referencing with this tweet.
NEVER APOLOGIZE for an opinion.
@WhiteHouse Wrong. The electricity is still produced primarily from the burning of fossil fuels.
For this to change, the safest and most direct route is to invest in an infrastructure of modern nuclear power plants in the U.S.
@AurelianofRome You could always allow them to have their opinions, but argue against their position in order to influence those spectating towards your point of view.
We should punish people for their actions, not their thoughts.
@ericareport That is the equivalent of me saying,
"If you voted for Joe Biden, you are an avowed communist. You have no wiggle room."
Pretty stupid, huh?
@Tay_dont_play@bobclendenin@Spiro_Ghost@elonmusk Fair point.
However, when someone responds to someone they don't even know with nothing more than personal insults, it is safe to say that I am more grown up than they are.
@Mr_Sallerkins @spleef1@bobclendenin@Spiro_Ghost@elonmusk Fair enough.
I believe that once someone decides to end the life of another person, they are in turn forfeiting their right to live, and thus their execution should not be considered murder.
I know you disagree.
I have enjoyed getting acquainted with your position though.
Thanks
@Mr_Sallerkins @spleef1@bobclendenin@Spiro_Ghost@elonmusk Respectable.
I disagree again, but I understand.
I do believe that we should do all that we can to help people learn to treat one another with respect, but when someone rapes, or murders, or molests children, I think we are all better off without them.
@Mr_Sallerkins @spleef1@bobclendenin@Spiro_Ghost@elonmusk So, you don't believe in equality, and that evil people should not be a full part of society, but are against the death penalty.
I can see how you would get there.
I don't agree, but I respect your perspective.
I would see it more as permanently removing a proven threat.
@Mr_Sallerkins @spleef1@bobclendenin@Spiro_Ghost@elonmusk That sounds great, but I don't think it is realistic.
I am not making the case that it is ok to torture people in order ease the suffering of others. Yet, things like taxes that can really hurt some people, but are an overall good for society at large.
@Mr_Sallerkins @spleef1@bobclendenin@Spiro_Ghost@elonmusk So, knowingly causing suffering to another?
I would add it needs to be for the sole purpose of causing that suffering to qualify as evil.
There are actions that cause harm to some, but alleviate suffering from many more. I can't consider that evil.
It fits my, Love thy neighbor
@Mr_Sallerkins @spleef1@bobclendenin@Spiro_Ghost@elonmusk Yeah, it is not exactly following a religion for me. It is following the example of someone I consider to be perfect, as in He lived his life in the best way possible given His situation.
Interesting you use the word evil.
Could you define it for me?
