The #USCG and Japan Coast Guard conducted exercises near the Ogasawara Islands of Japan. The USCG Cutter Kimball and JCG Ship Akitsushima, two of the respective services’ newest and most capable vessels. The crews practiced interdicting foreign vessels operating illegally.

Snow landing? 'Sno problem! #USCG Guard Air Station Traverse City crews have been out practicing snow landings on unplowed grass strips in their local area. These landings require close coordination between the flight mechanic, who "calls the cloud," and the pilots.
