No better way to celebrate the springtime! We had a lot of fun hosting the Pharmacology/VBI Spring Social. Even the rainy weather didn’t keep us away ☔️.
Thanks to all who helped make this event a success!
Great seeing Pharmacology & Neuroscience grad students and postdocs come together to relax, connect, and enjoy time outside the lab. @VanderbiltBrain@VUBasicSciences
Incredibly honored to be named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
This distinction recognizes the work of my students and trainees over the years.
Congratulations to the other Vanderbilt faculty elected AAAS Fellows as well.
A HUGE thank you to all our students, staff, and faculty who volunteered, set up booths, and brought their families to the Vanderbilt Brain Institute’s BRAIN BLAST!
We hope everyone left feeling inspired to encourage kids in exploring their interests in neuroscience! 🧠🧬🔬
Brain Blast with the @VanderbiltBrain Institute this morning 🧠
We introduced young students to the regenerative capacity of the zebrafish spinal cord (with lots of colorful neurons!). It was so exciting to see how engaged they were.
Science outreach is so important 💡
