Vanderbilt is among 9 universities
Trump is trying to bring to heel. Our university administration MUST refuse this unconstitutional compact. We call on graduate workers, undergraduates, faculty, and other affiliates of Vanderbilt to sign our petition.

Admin filed a lawsuit against the National Labor Relations Board. This legal maneuver is a delay tactic. Vandy has unfortunately decided to take this path instead of allowing us to have a democratic election. Sign and share our petition - demand a vote! https://t.co/9wFWc21ZoF

"Unionizing workers in higher education makes education more accessible for all. Your family’s wealth should not determine whether or not pursuing a graduate degree is financially feasible." Join VGWU Co-Chair, Kelly and sign your card https://t.co/Wiq1RCTefQ!
@VanderbiltU, as grad students, we love you and our fellow students. That is why we will continue striving to give these students the voice they deserve 😊! They deserve appreciation every week of the year, not just one week ❤️
"Collective bargaining is how we shape the university in our image and not the other way around"
We are getting closer to super majority support and being able to bargain with the university. Join us by signing your card https://t.co/Wiq1RCTefQ and passing it along!
Dental and vision, higher wages, COLA's, attention on the housing issue... everything the admin is now toting around has been WON by grads organizing with our colleagues. That's why we are forming a labor union, so that we can keep organizing and keep winning more!
That's right! 1100 grads signed a petition by our organizers calling for dental/vision. It took us delivering it twice and months of agitation around the issue until admin finally talked about it. And then they gave all the credit to the Grad Stu Council! (no shade to gsc...
Isn't the dental/vision piece only included thanks to like *years* of requesting by @VandyGradUnion?
Happy though that students are at least getting something NOW
gsc have been our consistent and good allies! but it was really something to see admin not mention the petition signed by 1100 grads as any part of the reason why they were adding dental and vision!
