A massive data center is now bathing the rural town of Crowell, Texas, in constant artificial light, leaving residents under a 24/7 industrial glow.
In other locations where data centers have been established, light pollution is becoming a serious problem for residents.

This isn’t a factory. It’s not a highway. It’s a data center.
This nonstop noise was recorded right outside a home in Dowagiac, Michigan. Residents hear it day and night. 24/7
Would you want this in your backyard?
As AI and data centers expand across America, who is protecting the communities forced to live beside them?

All Data Centers need to be BANNED until they DO NOT have harmful environmental impacts with their extreme noise, electricity usage/waste & water usage/waste/contamination.

idk what’s worse the fact that she thinks it’s okay as long as she doesn’t use it on her art or saying that ai will use less energy/resources in the future when all of these ai companies are savagely trying to buy lands to build more data centers and ruin the planet over profits
@brave_romania What a dumbass , all data centers do is ruin the environment and plunder natural resources while givin zero benefit to local communities …. Only reason they chose romania is coz of the pushback recieved back in usa …. So they movin to plan b 😂😂😂
Elon Musk has become a trillionaire. If we confiscated just 15% of his wealth we could: clean up all the oceans, eliminate poverty, and literally make the world into a utopia.
Instead he chooses to indulge in his phallic obsession with rockets and wants to build data centers in space. You cant even move electricity from space to earth. Dumbest idea ever.
All the best,
Wolfgang
Texas farmer donated land for a public park — city sold it to a DATA CENTER for $10M
The Bland family deeded 88 acres as parkland 'for kids to play,' but after several ownership swaps, it was sold to build an AI slop facility
🚨 The Nashville Zoo is asking for the public's help fighting a new 69,000‑sq‑ft data center that could disrupt endangered species’ breeding programs with constant noise, lights, & 24/7 industrial activity.

@Anarseldain That's what all the data centers and Flock cameras are for, they want to see everything you say and do so they can ruin your life before you gain any influence.
“let’s all ruin the one continent specifically set aside as a permanent scientific preserve by building chatgpt data centers all over it so we can output even more useless slop!!”
The pattern…tragedy unfolding right before our eyes. This is just the beginning. Data Centers are destroying everything around them. And they will be obsolete before they even finish construction. A COLOSSAL WASTE OF LAND, NATURAL RESOURCES & MONEY. Get involved in your local areas to halt their construction.
Wait, so we were told to take shorter showers, turn off the tap while brushing our teeth, and conserve water at every opportunity… but data centers can show up and use millions of gallons like it’s nothing?
Stop calling them "data centers."
These are massive surveillance infrastructure hubs built to monitor, track, and control every aspect of human life and they’re on track to lock 99% of the population into a total digital prison by 2030.
More than 75 planned data center projects in the U.S., worth about $130 billion, have been blocked or delayed in the first four months of 2026.
Communities across the political spectrum are pushing back because they worry about higher electricity bills, heavy water use, noise, and the impact on local infrastructure.
