Stop compelling speech in classrooms🗣️
We should not be asking children—especially young children, children like my own who is nine—to navigate complicated adult issues or to suppress their own discomfort in order to avoid being labeled intolerant or hateful.
🚨 BREAKING: The Trump administration is reportedly drafting a plan pushed by JD Vance to give federal child care funds to married couples with a STAY-AT-HOME SPOUSE while the other parent works — NYT
The program could be $9K per year for these families
The goal: make it easier for married Americans to let one parent take care of the children, rather than both work and pay others to take care of the children
This could create an incentive for parents to "stay at home with their children"
Apparently, this is similar to a MARCO RUBIO proposal when he was Senator 👀
It sounds like this would be under current federal programs, not new laws passed by Congress

RULES EXPERT TERRY MCAULAY JUST ADMITTED THAT THE REFS MADE THE WRONG CALL IN THE MICHIGAN–WESTERN MICHIGAN GAME.
“The ball isn't even close to touching a player when it goes to zero... I don't see how that happened, assuming our clock is correct... The ball is clearly still in the air when the clock goes to zero.”
WOW. WOW. WOW.
How to get involved with your local School Board
1. Print the district calendar and the next three meeting dates.
2. Pull the school policy on parental notice and opt-out. Know what they say; you will refer back to it.
3. Write three questions you want to ask the Board; they can be on faith, family, and curriculum. Keep them short.
4. Bring a neighbor or family members for support. Wait for the public comment time and Go For It!
Remember: The First Amendment protects free exercise. It does not hand your child’s conscience to the curriculum committee. Parents still get the first claim. Schools get the leftover.
@JustineBateman That’s the distinction worth keeping. Equal legal capacity — property, contracts, accounts — was a real correction. Unfortunately, treating marriage, children, or men as the default threat is the new feminism.
I love college football! Congrats to Jim Tressel. One of the good ones!

@libsoftiktok@ksdschools Parental notice is not optional window dressing. If a district changes names, pronouns, or gender markers without written parental consent, that is the school claiming the child’s identity over the household. Ask for the policy in writing. Then show up with it.
@RobSchneider “Never forget” was a vow, not a slogan for one news cycle. A free people that soft-pedals threats to its faith and its daughters is not being polite. It is being careless with the next generation.
@libsoftiktok@UW Madison put free exercise and free speech first for a reason. A university that punishes a parody of its own land acknowledgment is not teaching liberty. It is enforcing a creed. $600k is expensive catechism.
We must fight stupid and dangerous ideas. My high school son told me this morning that a fellow football player was trying to convince him and his teammates that communism and socialism are good and capitalism is bad. We used the moment to strengthen his clear, fact-based response to this absurd position.
We discussed the tens of millions killed under communist regimes and how the United States fought throughout the Cold War to prevent communism’s spread.
The historical record provides conclusive evidence that communism and socialism have failed to deliver what they promise. The Soviet Union collapsed. Maoist China produced famine and mass poverty until it adopted market reforms. Cuba remains poor and repressive. Venezuela turned one of the world’s wealthiest countries into an economic disaster. These systems do not create equality or shared prosperity. They concentrate power and wealth in the hands of a ruling class while leaving everyone else poorer and less free.
Capitalism helped build the United States into the world’s greatest nation and only superpower. It rests on the principle that regardless of your background, hard work, initiative, and determination can produce prosperity and even wealth. @ConceptualJames
Parenting requires more than asking whether your children completed their homework. You must educate them, guide them, and prepare them to challenge bad ideas. If you allow algorithms, social media, and foreign-influenced platforms to raise and educate your children, do not be surprised when they believe stupid things.
Communism is a mortal threat to American liberty. @WhiteHouse
Utah and homelessness. We are not California
We all want to end it. If we continue to spend increasing amounts of money, we must see full transparency on how those funds are spent and the results they achieve.
We are tired of increasing amounts of money being thrown at homelessness and yet the problem only gets worse. We are not California. Maybe it’s time to find a different strategy.
We must maintain accountability for both those who spend our money and those who receive it.
Utah officials say the state has poured ~$266–$270 million into homelessness since 2020, the largest such investment in state history.
OHS budgets tell the same story of escalation: $35M (2022) → $71M (2023) → $95M (2024) → $100M (2025).
One year alone, FY25, was $85M in state money plus federal and local add-ons.
The 2022 GOPB financing report already showed FY23 OHS appropriations at $98M, much of it one-time housing and federal ARPA. Legislative auditors had already counted $80M+ all-sources by 2016 and $300M+ by 2019.
🚨What we do not have is proof it worked. PIT homelessness rose for years and hit a record 4,584 in 2025 before a 1.6% dip in 2026. State audits in 2018 and 2021 said the data and management systems were too weak to tell whether the money reduced homelessness.
That is not the fox auditing the henhouse. It is spending hundreds of millions and then admitting nobody built a ledger that can show whether anyone left the street.
Thank you Texas! We must never forget the principles this country was founded upon.

BREAKING: The Texas State Board of Education just voted in favor of stronger high school history standards that restore Western civilization, America’s founding principles, and the full context of our nation’s exceptional story to Texas classrooms. 🇺🇸
Thank you to Emily Green from the USBE for calling attention to the fact that many school libraries continue to contain sensitive materials that are violating the law. Why does it matter that we protect the youth from sexually explicit material? Because it causes MENTAL HEALTH disorders.
The $60,000 “School Library Materials Acquisition and Procurement Review” will now examine several front-end processes related to book purchases and third-party vendors.
“What we want to understand is how vendors have access to public education,” Green said. “And we don’t understand that relationship.”
