You don’t even necessarily have to play it (although that is the best way) you can easily just watch streamers play and learn that way. I didn’t play killer for a long time I just watched killer gameplay and I consider myself to be decent at looping all of them (with the exception of clown or kaneki but I think that’s a skill issue on my part + my hatred for Kaneki)

A dbd hot take I have is that majority of dbd killer players are either super competitive and play the game because they love the thrill or chronically online people looking for validation when a survivor says something to them in EGC. Seems to rarely be an in between
