How do you log / keep track of your random ideas?

Ideas which come randomly, in between other work, doing something random. do you keep track of those ideas?

If yes, how exactly?

Guyss, how many times you get an idea randomly, while doing something, and
1: you drop whatever you were doing, and start working on the new idea
2: keep that idea in mind ( and eventually forget it )
3: log it somewhere, and reffed it later.
