I genuinely cannot emphasize this enough: the amount of damage we are doing to ourselves by constantly fighting K-pop stans, chasing stupid tags and feeling the need to address every single hate post is insane.

And for what? None of this contributes anything meaningful to BTS. It doesn't help their craft reach new people, it doesn't build their cultural presence, and it certainly doesn't generate any kind of meaningful support for them. We're pouring enormous amounts of attention into people who benefit from getting our attention.

And this “but they're doing it too” argument genuinely needs to end. So what if they're doing it too? We have bigger things to do. BTS are not in a position where we need to spend every day proving ourselves to every random stan account with 200 followers.

The urge to respond to every single insult, drag, comparison and hate post is one of the worst habits this fandom has developed. We need to move on. Put that energy into talking about BTS's craft, their songwriting, their artistry and their actual impact.

I cannot emphasize enough how much we are damaging our own focus by making fandom fights our priority 😭✋
