Being real is the highest form one can attain in a world where people and things keep changing, being real and comfortable is the most alive you can be and if you can be real, comfortable and accepted, then well, I'll be damned.
I'll leave a function early so I can shower and get in bed at a decent time. Then I make it home and sit on my phone until 3 in the morning, no shower or nothing.
My greatest fear is mediocrity.
I hope I don't look back and realize I could have been better in another timeline if I did some things differently, hung around a different set of people who pushed me more or if I gave more time to introspection.
Never disrespect yourself by letting something insulting slide, you could always break ranks with the ones closest to you, but you will always carry yourself in your body and be reminded each and everyday you had such little respect for yourself.
One of the pains of having a wrist watch that notifies you every hour is that you are constantly reminded how time flies as an adult and the need to be up and doing, because you can not turn back the hands of time, you can't recover lost time.
