#Sadhguru Jagadish Vasudev has pledged Rs 1 crore towards #Nepal’s Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support rescue and relief efforts following devastating flash floods along the #Nepal-#Tibet border. He also called for greater cooperation among Himalayan nations, proposing a five-nation Himalayan Board to coordinate responses to disasters affecting the fragile mountain region.

Agastyarkoodam. The government has denied permission for a pooja traditionally performed by the Kani tribe, who are healers inheriting Siddha Vaidya Vidya from Agastya Muni. They perform the pooja after observing a 41-day Vratam, similar to Sabarimala, and trek the mountain of Agastyarkoodam. This is the same place where Tamil originated and is now a biosphere.

Deliberately the Government converted this into a tourist space now.

Sadhguru says 80 members of one of his Kailash groups remain unaccounted for after the devastating flash flood near the Tibet-Nepal border

The group includes travellers from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Germany, France and several other countries, along with volunteers and a doctor

Sadhguru said he tried to reach the area personally, but roads are blocked and phone networks are down

“We have no official confirmation of any kind” he said, adding that the scale of destruction “looks bad”

A pall of gloom descended at the Isha Foundation camp in Tibet's Saga after Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev broke down announcing 80 members were lost in devastating flash floods along Nepal-Tibet border.
Struggling to hold back tears, hands trembling and followers wailing in background, Sadhguru made emotional appeal to Indian and Chinese embassies seeking permission to travel to Gyirong, where the immigration building and town were washed away, to help in rescue and search for remains.The S3 group was returning from Kailash Mansarovar when flood struck at 9:14 am, minutes after reaching immigration centre.

The Nepal–Tibet floods are truly horrific. My deepest condolences to every family that has lost someone, and my prayers are with those still waiting for news of their loved ones.

Please show compassion in what you share online. Some videos show people in their final moments. They were someone’s mother, father, sister, brother, son or daughter. Their families should never have to discover or relive their loss through social media.

Let dignity come before views and forwards.

This tragedy has also shaken me personally. My parents were meant to undertake this yatra but cancelled at the last minute.

URGENT: Please help us locate my brother-in-law, V.S. Balasubramanyam (Bali), a US citizen of Indian origin.
Bali was travelling with the Isha Foundation S3 Kailash/Mansarovar group.
His last known phone location, confirmed to his family by Andhra Bhavan, New Delhi, was the Chinese Immigration Centre at Gyirong, Tibet, on the morning of August 26, when the devastating flash flood struck.
His family has had no contact with him since, and his current status is unknown.
If anyone has information about Bali or the S3 group at the Gyirong immigration centre, please DM me.
