Steven Bartlett, host of the podcast, The Diary of a CEO, released an interview with Christian apologist, John Lennox, this week, and his closing comments to him were fascinating:

"One of the most compelling arguments for God that you've presented (and your way of seeing the world and being) is not actually necessarily anything you've written in your books or not not necessarily anything you've said. It is actually you.

You have a certain peace and contentment that I rarely see in people that I interview, but I often see, and I've almost always seen, in the Christians that I've interviewed, and this is a interesting phenomenon for me...it seems to be a trend that a lot of the Christian apologists that I've interviewed have that anchoring that so many of us are looking for."

He only eats sourdough. Says white bread is literally made with bleached flour, actual bleach. The food industry doesn’t want to kill you quickly. They want slow, chronic inflammation that keeps you buying medicine.

It sounds like a conspiracy until you realize how much money is made between the food that makes us sick and the drugs that manage the symptoms.

Today marks the beginning of what some call Pride Month.

For Christians, we celebrate today like we do every day - that this is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.

When we see the acronym LGBTQ, we don’t see sexual identities to celebrate, we see image-bearers of God who are doing what’s right in their own eyes and need the kind of love that points to Jesus and His truth.

The truth is God made us male and female so that a man can leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

God IS love and He has the authority to define it. He calls homosexuality a sin, and holy marriage between a man and woman very good. The most loving thing we can do is agree with God.

We can’t love others by affirming sin. This is my response to why we don’t celebrate Pride Month:

Thomas Massie ran an X poll yesterday and over 85% of respondents ranked Israel as a greater threat to liberty than China, Iran, or Russia. Actual American voters say they want Candace Owens as president. And Massie lost his primary, but won the GenZ vote 4-to-1 and the Millennial vote 2-to-1.

The instinct on our side has been to wave it off. Bots. Self-selection. The poll is fake, the wave is fake, Massie lost, Candace is crazy, the problem isn't real.

"X isn't real life" is at best a half-truth good and sane people tell themselves to avoid the uncomfortable truth about how lies, disinformation, and propaganda actually travel and take root. 

But if we keep burying our heads in the sand, we will lose.
