For 25 unforgettable seasons, Coale built OU Women’s Basketball into a national powerhouse while inspiring generations of student-athletes with her passion and relentless belief in what was possible.

From Final Four runs and championship banners to life lessons that shaped leaders across Oklahoma and beyond, her legacy is woven into the fabric of this university.

An Oklahoman through and through, Coach Coale represents the very best of our state: courage, heart, excellence, and a commitment to lifting others higher. Her influence can still be felt in packed arenas, in classrooms, in communities, and in the countless lives she changed along the way.
