Australian aid worker Robert Martin’s family says he was mistreated in custody by Israeli authorities.

“They are severely dehydrated and on drips. His arthritis is really bad so he is on extra pain medication — he said they [Israel] didn't let him have his medication in there.

"They said the conditions [in jail] were absolutely horrific and worse than they expected. You could literally see the bedbugs everywhere.

"He said the IDF were extremely intimidating and very rough with them, with multiple strip searches."

I appeal to you, with my broken heart as a father, to look at my little girl's suffering with compassion. My little girl suffers from severe malnutrition. Her weak body is unable to grow, and her pale skin tells a story of hunger and oppression in painful silence.

She can no longer play like a child, nor does she smile much. Even her laughter is choked with pain. Every day, I watch her wither before my eyes, and all I can do for her is tears and prayers.

We need milk, nutritious food, and medicine. We need living hearts that will reach out to help us in these harsh circumstances that are beyond our capacity and ability to endure.

Whoever can help us, even a little, that is a great honor in the sight of God. My little girl deserves to live and to grow like any other child.

There aren’t words strong enough to describe the cowardice and depravity of a “military” that will methodically execute medical workers, bury them in mass graves, and tell the NYT the vehicles were “advancing suspiciously” without lights on.
