That is not a number picked to sound generous. Every token on Pons has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, and that is exactly the supply of the old $VAUTH. Because the two match, swapping one for one leaves every holder's ownership percentage exactly where it was. Any other rate would quietly move someone's share, and someone would be worse off for it.
The snapshot was taken before this post existed, so it could not be farmed. Every eligible wallet and the exact amount it receives is already published. If what lands in your wallet does not match that list, everyone can see it and hold us to it.
