Thank you to my sister President @SuluhuSamia for the warm welcome to Tanzania and for the productive discussions.
Rwanda and Tanzania are not only neighbors but brotherly countries bound by history and a shared goal of prosperity for our people. Rwanda remains committed to building on this strong foundation by deepening our bilateral cooperation across trade, investment, infrastructure, logistics, energy, and regional integration.
I look forward to continuing our collaboration to achieve tangible results for our citizens and advance the East African Community.
On the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda, we mourn the victims & pay tribute to the survivors.
We must learn from past failures & protect the living — by rejecting hatred, inflammatory rhetoric & incitement to violence.

Today, we were honored to welcome Father Alexis Ndindabahizi, Rector of the Minor Seminary Saint Jean Paul II of the Diocese of Gikongoro, alongside Father Francis, Dean of Studies. Their visit included a productive meeting with our Head of School, a campus tour, and the celebration of Holy Mass for our community.
Our retreat has become more engaging with each passing day. This afternoon’s session unfolded the essentials of shaping the future of local government; that will base on #strengthening#systems to prevent shocks and close loopholes that could lead to systemic failures.
