Why do the angry young Cockroaches have anything for the young compatriots like Umar Khalid, Sarjil Imam, youth of Manipur, Surendra Gadling, Rona Wilson, Mahesh Raut, Jyoti Jagtap, Ramesh Gaichor, Sagar Gorkhe, Hany Babu, Asif Sultan, Khurram Parvez❓
These youth and many many more like them, have been or were, wrongfully incarcerated and lost their peak youth to Sanghi oppression.
Remember two things,
1) RSS was desperate for change in 2014. It started immediately after 2009 elections by launching IAC, ‘Vinod Rai’ salvos in 2010-11.
2) RSS is desperate for change in 2029, after it failed to rein in its protege. Hence, the ‘Cockroach’ has come forth.
Controlling Power with Iron Claws, the Sangh now wants the Opposition Space under its control too.
Don’t fall prey to it all over again❗️
The arrest of Sonam Wangchuk @Wangchuk66 under the National Security Act (NSA) is not just a headline but a disturbing marker of where India stands today. It signals that what was once feared as the creeping shadow of an Orwellian state has already settled firmly into the fabric of governance.
********
This is not just about his arrest alone but the normalization of extraordinary laws, meant for rare and extreme situations, being used to stifle dissent and silence those who raise inconvenient(??)questions. Wangchuk, known for his environmental activism and advocacy for Ladakh’s rights, embodies a voice of conscience. By detaining him under NSA, the state is sending a chilling message: dissent equals danger, activism equals subversion.
********
India has moved beyond the slippery slope — we are in the territory where surveillance, silencing, and criminalising of democratic expression have become part of the political grammar. The Orwellian phrase “thoughtcrime” is no longer a metaphor in our times but an everyday reality. Citizens are not just being judged for what they do, but for what they dare to think and say against authority.
Jai Hind
Sonam Wangchuk has done more good things for India than all BJP leaders combined.
They are targeting him because they cannot tolerate educated people who speak up for their rights. They want everyone to be dumb Andhbhakts. It is similar to how Hitler targeted Albert Einstein.
A look at the scumbags in Delhi rushing to defend charlatan Sonam Wangchuk says it all. The company he keeps and the cheerleaders he attracts speak louder than his hollow claims. His intent is clear, and it is anything but clean.
The global recognition his sympathisers flaunt is not a qualification. It merely puts him in the league of several other agents of the “deep state” who have worked to the detriment of India’s sovereignty and interests.
Even more telling is the sudden change in Sonam Wangchuk’s position—intriguing on the surface, but in reality insidious. It raises questions about whose script he is reading from, and whose interests he is truly serving.
Be careful what you wish for. Once a darling of the BJP, today Sonam Wangchuk is being painted as anti national, cases being filed against him because the UT thing didn’t quite go as planned
He is Sonam Wangchuk, an education reformist.
He was born to a poor family in Ladakh.
He was a hardcore Sanghi and ardent follower of Narendra Modi till 2022.
But one day he started speaking for Leh citizens, he started asking questions from the Modi government on development.
And today he has been arrested by the same Modi government once he used to admire a lot.
In Modi govt, it’s not allowed to ask questions from the government.
What a fall of our democratic india.
What are we becoming? Where are we headed?
The arrest of Sonam Wangchuk @Wangchuk66 under the National Security Act (NSA) is yet another disturbing proof of a totalitarian regime.
Will every voice of dissent, every voice that seeks rights and each one who raises uncomfortable questions be treated like this?
The BJP has actually failed to keep its promise made to the people of Ladakh - inclusion under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution.
And what Modi and his party are doing right now is a brazen cover up of their failure to maintain law and order in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Mr Modi, don’t do to Ladakh what you have done to Manipur. Don’t alienate Ladakh and Ladakhis. It’s time to engage with them and restore trust. This arrest doesn’t bode well for Ladakh and for our democracy.
Diljit Dosanjh responds to all the RW trolls during his Malaysia concert. Says, his film with Pakistani actor was shot in February before the Pahalgam attack in April but the Asia Cup matches are being played now.
Sonam Wangchuk’s arrest exposes Modi’s dictatorship! He built solar tents for our army, yet branded a traitor for demanding democracy in Ladakh. This is revenge for Leh’s BJP office burning. Patriots, rise up! Condemn this injustice! #
Jai Hind!
@Wangchuk66
Sonam Wangchuk has been taken to Jodhpur jail after detention under NSA. He has not even been served the detention order nor informed about the grounds for his preventive detention.
How will the detention of a Gandhian activist who has always stood for non-violence help? This will further inflame & alienate the people of Ladakh.
