These 16 economically and socially underprivileged students have achieved their dream of studying at some of India’s finest institutions—5 at IITs and 11 at NITs—through sheer determination, hard work, and perseverance.
They were trained at the Rashtrotthana TAPAS Centre, an RSS-inspired initiative that provides free education and training to meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds.
Heartiest congratulations to all of them. Wishing them a bright and successful future, and may they use their knowledge and abilities to contribute meaningfully to our mother society and the nation.
Dear @vdsatheesan,
Mangaluru is in Karnataka. The Railway Board has now corrected a decades-old administrative arrangement and brought Mangaluru under South Western Railway’s Mysuru Division.
You call this “unacceptable” because it affects Palakkad Division’s revenue.
That explains a lot. 🙂
For Karnataka it is a long-pending victory.
And to @INCKarnataka : where is the celebration? Where is the congratulatory message for Karnataka’s own Mangaluru?
When Kerala protests, they speak loudly. When Karnataka wins, Karnataka Congress goes mysteriously silent.
At least say “Jai Karnataka” once.
Self-awareness means liberation from the mentality of servitude, pride in one’s heritage and mother tongue, and embracing swadeshi. Self-reliance is no longer an option but a necessity. Society must adopt the spirit of swadeshi as a collective resolve, channeling full energy into making the “Vocal for Local” campaign successful.
“The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has always placed social harmony as its top priority.”
Today, the nation faces challenges that directly affect its unity, culture, and security — from separatist ideologies and regionalism to caste and linguistic conflicts, often fueled by external forces.
The soul of India has always resided in “unity in diversity.” If this principle is weakened, India’s strength will diminish. Hence, it must be continuously reinforced.
Social harmony today faces serious challenges from demographic manipulation and illegal infiltration, threatening internal security and future peace. To face this danger, the call is for vigilance and firm action.
Family enlightenment is the need of the hour. Defined as the nourishment of family culture — the foundation of Indian civilization — it draws inspiration from Indian values. It emphasizes maintaining family principles, respecting elders, empowering women, instilling values in youth, and fulfilling family responsibilities. Awareness of these values must grow within both families and society.
Every nation that has progressed has done so on the foundation of civic discipline — the awakening of a sense of duty among citizens. The spirit of the Constitution lies in citizens performing their duties, and this constitutional value must be continually strengthened.
Protection of the environment is essential for both present and future generations, for it is directly linked to humanity’s survival. Equal focus must be placed on ecology as on the economy. Initiatives such as water conservation, green energy, and clean energy are crucial steps in this direction.
“The five transformative resolutions of the RSS — self-awareness, social harmony, family enlightenment, civic discipline, and environmental consciousness — are vital instruments that will strengthen the nation, help it meet diverse challenges, and serve as the foundational pillars for building a developed India by 2047.”
By 2047, India shall stand as a glorious nation, shaped by philosophy and science, service and social harmony. This is the vision of the RSS, the collective effort of all swayamsevaks, and their unwavering resolve.
The Sangh is built on unshakable faith in the nation, inspired by a deep spirit of service, refined by sacrifice and discipline, and guided by the conviction that national duty is life’s highest duty. The Sangh is inseparably united with the great dream of serving Bharat Mata.
“The Sangh’s ideal is to deepen and strengthen the roots of Indian culture.
Its effort — to instill self-confidence and pride in society.
Its goal — to ignite the flame of service in every heart.
Its vision — to make Indian society a symbol of social justice.
Its mission — to make India’s voice resonate on the global stage.
Its resolve — to ensure a safe and radiant future for the nation.”
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi announced the Next-Generation GST Reforms in his Independence Day address from the ramparts of Red Fort.
Working on the same principle, the GST Council has approved significant reforms today.

PM Shri @narendramodi Ji stands for what he commits.
This historic decision of GST rate cuts and process reforms will bring huge relief to the poor and middle class, while also supporting farmers, MSMEs, women and youth.
By simplifying the system and reducing the burden on common citizens, these reforms will not only ensure ease of living but also give a big boost to ease of doing business, especially for small traders and entrepreneurs.
A truly transformative decision for Bharat!

@TimesAlgebraIND BJP karyakartas are good at winning election but bjp top brass is very bad at selection of CM. It’s always a disappointment for BJP ground level workers. BJP CMs must learn from Congress CMs on how to protect vote bank and target opposition leaders and party workers. @BJP4India
BJP workers, voters and the entire nation was waiting for one election bill but how come BJP MPs can absent even after wip issued? @amitmalviya@AmitShah@narendramodi@JPNadda party leadership has to answer for Karyakartas and voters.
@ganeshchetan Really I don’t know what have you achieved by this? Language should not be used as a political weapon or money making strategy. Note: ನಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ
