@Three_Cone But hey at least the Thunder are on

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@TalkinYanks Why is Volpe not at 2b

[Sam Humphreys @SamHumphreys34]

Russell Westbrook chose OKC when he had every right to leave.
-KD gave up on him in OKC.
-Harden gave up on him in Houston.
-Russ took the Wizards to the playoffs.
-LeBron scapegoated him with the Lakers.
-Kawhi and PG couldn’t stay healthy for him with the Clippers.
-The Nuggets chose Jalen Pickett over him, even though 36yo Russ averaged 16/8/8 with a 22-14 record as a starter in Denver.

The most important thing to understand about Russell Westbrook, that only OKC fans give him credit for, is that the only thing Russ cared about on the basketball court was WINNING.

I’ll say it one last time for the IDIOTS in the back…

Russell Westbrook’s OKC team record in games that he recorded a triple-double was 138-34. THAT’S OVER 80%!

The triple-doubles translated to wins.

Russell Westbrook will be remembered for his loyalty, his competitiveness…and yes, as a winner…even though everyone else around him gave up on him.

And yes, Russell Westbrook is a Top 5 PG of All-Time.

TODAY, they should start building the statue in front of the Continental Coliseum…
because Russell Westbrook built basketball in OKC.

They didn’t value Russ. They didn’t appreciate Russ. They didn’t respect Russ.

I’ll say what Russ didn’t say in his retirement video.

WHY NOT?

OKC WILL LOVE RUSSELL WESTBROOK FOREVER!

[𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒆 🌩 @Three_Cone]

Russell Westbrook was the reason I fell in love with the Oklahoma City Thunder and basketball itself

He never went any less than 110%, he lifted up the franchise countless times, he won an MVP, and even after he left he deservingly got a standing ovation every time he returned to OKC

I’m really sad he didn’t get one last shot at a ring because few players ever deserve a championship more than Russ

But I am excited to sit front and center for when that #0 gets raised into the rafters of Paycom Center, nothing will stop me from being there for that and the statue unveiling when that comes around

To one of the greatest players in NBA and Thunder history and the one who made me fall in love with the game, thank you @russwest44

Enjoy retirement Brodie

[𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒆 🌩 @Three_Cone]

Going from Sam Presti during NBA season to Brian Cashman during MLB season

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@MVPShai2 You dead wrong.

[𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒆 🌩 @Three_Cone]

I’ll always be a big fan of Isaiah Joe, one of the best shooters in Thunder history and we don’t win a title without him

That first game where he single handedly pulled off the comeback against the Mavericks in his first run for the team was one of the first moments where it felt like the tide was turning from rebuild to contention

Someday they’ll finally put him in the three point contest and he’ll win it, wishing him all the best in Detroit

Thunder legend forever @zai_joe1

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@all_things_OKC super unknown guy, LeBron James Sr.

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@Tayler_P15 Idk, Shai was seeing triple coverage almost every play. Brunson went nuclear, but I think he was able to do that because he has the supporting staff to draw at least some attention away from him. I think Shai adapted to what he was seeing very well.

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@all_things_OKC If they don’t start Fox they definitely have to address the Castle turnover issue, there’s no way they can be sustainable with current Castle’s playmaking

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@iheartjwill Young me saw Russ running around, dunking on people at UCLA. I wanted to go to UCLA til like sophomore year of high school.

[Clemente Almanza @CAlmanza1007]

Mark Daigneault on Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell being out: “We have not been an excuse team ever and we’re not going to start now.”

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@all_things_OKC Trade them all for Steve-O and Poku.

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@HoodiiBron Ok and bro has a good team. Non Thunder fans are complaining more than Thunder fans

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@DaigMuse Bring me Russell Westbrook for the most peak veteran leadership

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@Thechat101 Yo “Wallace, you take Chet’s!” Is so fucking funny

[NBA Hoops @Thechat101]

A pissed off gilbert arenas says soon as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gets into the locker room he needs to demand his ap watches back from lu dort , Chet Holmgren , Hartenstein etc , none of them showed up tonight for the Oklahoma City thunder

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@all_things_OKC I think they played a good game. We needed a spoon to do a forks job, meaning we needed our defenders to fill the gap of missing ajay’s and dub’s absences.

Just really hard to see Chet perform so poorly.

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@famouslos32 No, let him sit with it for like a day or two and then we can say nice things.

[Alex Vega @Vega_23_Alex]

@DaigMuse I think even a healthy ajay OR a healthy dub
