I imagine he did same with others so to not alienate his niche Toronto-Portugue$e community practice where domestic abuse was commonplace

@blogTO Or simply eliminate the farebox, something I began calling for over 20 years ago, before I was a transit operator (former bus driver).
Treat it like other "common good" services (waste removal, snow clearing, etc...), funded collectively & run it as a hop-on-hop-off service 🤷‍♂️

@blogTO Before anyone gets too carried away with this, Canada shares 7th place with 3 other countries (Czechia, Hungary, and Malta), and is actually 24th on the list, since all of spots ahead are also shared by multiple countries!
FYI, last year Canada was also 24th 🤷‍♂️

In other words, if traffic is backed up in front of you, the law says that you must wait for it to clear before crossing the intersection to not to get stuck in it between signal changes.

Of course, if you're conservative or liberal, then enriching the already mega-rich at the expense of the rest is the name of the game🤬

He & wife started "Nurse Next Door" to farm out nurses to public health charging OHIP higher rates than actual public health nurses earn.
Ford is further privatizing.

@RealSamGill @CP24 ~90% of our illegal guns come from the U.S. & their crazy, permissive gun laws, coupled with our porous border, are to blame. Mexico suffers sam, with ~70% of illegal guns also from the U.S., primarily Texas.
Our two countries need a wall to keep all the U.S. cray cray out.

@OPP_HSD Making ignition interlock devices mandatory in motor vehicles would bring the incidence of impaired driving to nearly zero, which should be the goal, rather than our after-the-fact punitive model, which only benefit$ certain groups (police, lawyers, judges, politicians, MADD) 🤬
