Why do so many Black activists support Palestinians?
Black American activists and Palestinians have showed solidarity with each other since the 1960s, as oppressed peoples fighting colonial powers. #FreeGaza#FreePalestine

We have seen what happens when alledge environmentalist take the backseat to what’s happening because they don’t see the immediate environmental connections. Movement about building a just world will ALWAYS be interconnected.
This also isn’t to say that all problems in Palestine are environmental BUT for the people In the back that say they care about the environment but don’t see the need to free Palestine. This is is for you!
The fourth chapter of “The Right to Maim: Debility, Capacity, Disability” by Jasbir Puar talks about this although not from an explicitly environmental perspective
There’s an “Environmental Apartheid” happening in Palestine because what happens when climate change, settler colonial occupation, resource exploitation & civil unrest are inextricably interlinked?!?!

This is PEAK white veganism. As a Black vegan who’s veganism is rooted in social justice I hate seeing things like this. Veganism shouldn’t be oppressive!!!!!! But that’s what happens when the narrative around veganism is designed by oppressors.

We are excited for our followers to learn more about our newest cohort! Here at AoC-EJ, we are seeking radical disruption (or change/progress) in many areas or spaces in environmental health and justice. Our fellows have some ideas to start some good trouble. @NcredblyDopeSci
