It’s still impressive to win 3 belts but his losses to Izzy and Ankalaev will keep him below Topuria and Islam

@JVandy320 @MLB No it doesn’t make up the gap for currently hitting .240 with 12 total extra base hits and a 0.8 War. Obviously he’s the best player in the game and will have great stats by the szn’s end but the whole point of this post was who’s the mvp until this point of the szn

Leon’s biggest failure in the NIL era has been talent evaluation and recruiting in the portal. I don’t care how you scheme it, there isn’t enough talent and playmaking on this roster.

@BJRains @31jackiemoon 1.5 is essentially a pick em. So getting blown out again by a NIT level squad is another brutal showing by Leon. once again, this szn isn’t a reflection of his coaching, it’s a reflection of his recruiting and talent evaluation. The best players on this team are role players

@BJRains They’ve looked better but if we’re being honest, the analytics like Kenpom and NET are meaningless unless they go about 9-1 in these final 10 games to finish the szn
