I've seen people break down in tears because Instagram took away accounts that were their livelihood, their portfolio, and years of hard work overnight. This isn't just about followers. For many people, it's their income, their business, their community, and their life documented over the years. This cannot be normal, and it should not be acceptable.
Instagram needs to provide a manual human review for every account that has been permanently disabled. People's lives, careers, businesses and years of hard work shouldn't be erased because an AI got it wrong. For many of us, Instagram has been our portfolio, archive, and bread and butter for years. You can't just lock us out of our own accounts overnight and expect us to accept it. Creators deserve transparency, fair reviews, and access to real human support. #RestoreOurAccounts @Meta@instagram
My ig account @/afreenalii was my digital home for over a decade. Years of memories, relief work, campaigns, photos, videos countless hours of effort all suddenly gone. If my old account meant something to you, please tag @instagram and @meta, please help me recover my account.
What's the use of Meta Verified when Meta employees keep passing users from one team to another? They raise tickets, make promises, say your case has been escalated, and then... nothing. No updates, no official emails, no confirmation, no resolution.
People are literally paying for Meta Verified hoping to get support when their accounts are disabled, only to be dragged in circles.
At this point, Meta Verified feels like a scam. Taking people's money while providing little to no actual help. Stop looting users and start fixing the accounts your AI keeps disabling. @meta@instagram@mosseri
Please pray that I get my account back.
There was so much of my work I posted directly on it (highlights) without keeping a backup. More than half of my work is gone, and I have no proof of a lot of the work I've done. That was my mistake. I should have made backups. Please.
We, as creators, are building our careers, communities, livelihoods, and documenting our lives on these platforms. We deserve more than 2 cents' worth of support when something goes wrong. Years of hard work, memories, and content can disappear overnight. No proper explanation, no meaningful support, no accountability.
These aren't just social media accounts they're portfolios, businesses, communities, memories, and years of dedication.
The creator community needs to speak up about this. Platforms shouldn't be able to erase years of someone's work in a second and then leave people with automated responses and nowhere to turn.

#Hyderabad: An elderly man who raised 8 children has allegedly been left homeless by his own family near St Ann’s School, Masab Tank.
Members of Nari Niketan Foundation from Errakunta in the Old City, led by Safiya Maahi, offered to shift him to an old age home. However, the man refused, saying, “I will wait here for my children to return.”
A heartbreaking reminder of the neglect faced by many senior citizens.
