Today our school came together, to support #WorldKidneyDay2024. Our ‘wear pink or purple day’ reflected our collective dedication to raising awareness and money for @kidneysforlife. We are thrilled to announce that we have raised a remarkable amount of £436. #AgentsOfChange

After Lily and Leo wrote that letter to their school asking to raise funds for KFL, their uncle took in their photo to his renal unit where he has dialysis. They have put it up for all to see and invited them both to the unit to have a tour! @St_Wilfrids_CE @St_Wilfrids_6C

After receiving an inspirational letter from two of our amazing children, expressing their desire for our school to support a charity close to their families’ hearts, we took action!
We invited ‘Kidneys for Life, a local charity to come and visit us! @kidneysforlife @LT_Trust

Our Year 6 children gathered at the Peace Gate this morning, to take part in a Remembrance Service. It was a meaningful time of reflection, paying tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives, and an opportunity to pray for peace for those currently caught up in conflict.

My year 1s were discussing where we belong, most did their clubs but this little person said she drew me teaching because she loves it when I teach and feels safe and comfortable and I make her laugh ❤️
