The small, humble shrine that the residents of Dublin spontaneously built at the site of Matt Talbot’s death has not survived to this day.
However, his memory lives on! Today, a memorial plaque can be found on Granby Lane, reminding every passerby of the events of June 7, 1925.

During tomorrow’s Easter Vigil Mass at St. Clement Hofbauer Church in Warsaw (Poland), one of the intentions submitted will be a special one – for the beatification of Venerable Matt Talbot.
The Mass will be celebrated in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.
